Platypus can often be seen in the lake.

We ask for a donation to assist with maintenance and development of th Arboretum.

We are dependent on your support to exist.
Visitor facilities include toilets, electric bbq's, picnic shelters and tables.

Currently the kiosk is open irregularly but from there visitor and walk guides can be obtained.

Service will resume from October where light refreshments will be on offer between 11AM and 3PM daily.

There is an EMERGENCY PHONE at the caretakers cottage.
On site mobile phone coverage is limited.
Elderly and persons with a disability may drive or be driven around the internal road.

 We are always ready to find places for volunteers either on site or in administrative roles.

There is a botanical annexe at Hogg Creek.

The Visitor centre was built by the Master Builders Association of Tasmania to commemorate their centenary in 1991. Built of Tasmanian timbers it exemplifies the ideal use of local hardwood resources.
It houses several collections, our small library and a display that changes quarterly
