The Tree Park Kiosk

The Brendan Layton Memorial Kiosk

Our Kiosk and information hub

This facility is proudly operated entirely by volunteers to provide visitors with a warm welcome and helpful information about the Arboretum’s trees, wildlife, and walking trails.

We endeavour to open the Kiosk 11am to 4pm every day during the warmer months of September to May when volunteers are available (excluding Christmas Day).

Nestled near the entrance to the park in the heart of the beautiful Tasmanian Arboretum, the Tree Park Kiosk and Information Hub is your gateway to discovering the wonders of nature. Here, you’ll find volunteers willing to help make your visit enjoyable and enriching.

Our kiosk offers light refreshments, Van Diemens Land ice cream, Leaping Goat Coffee, various teas and other locally sourced treats. It is a cozy spot to relax while taking in the serene surroundings. The Information Hub is packed with resources about the Arboretum’s diverse collection of trees, wildlife, and walking trails, helping you explore and learn at your own pace.
