Your outdoor classroom is at the Arboretum. Our experienced volunteer education team is highly skilled and cater for a broad range of visitors.
Experience the trees
Trees and shrubs from the temperate world show their habits through the seasons. There are numerous interpretive panels and all woody plants are labelled.

We have facilities for all manner of functions and events. From open parklands and rotundas, both open and sheltered, to the cosy indoors.

Picnic
Far from the madding crowd our restful rural setting of 66 hectares of landscape park is enchanting in all seasons. Picnic in the rotundas or on the grass.
Tree Park Kiosk
During the warmer months the Kiosk is open most days. Take a break and enjoy some refreshements.
Walking
Follow trails through a garden of trees from temperate climates or simply wander through a beautiful and peaceful landscape.
Weddings
The beautiful parkland setting makes the Arboretum the perfect choice for your outdoor wedding. There is an extensive choice of sites.
Wildlife
We are the best place in Australia to spot a wild platypus and there are plenty more besides.
