Experience the trees
Trees and shrubs from the temperate world show their habits through the seasons. There are numerous interpretive panels and all woody plants are labelled.
Many Botanical Gardens display trees and some have a special part for that display, an Arboretum. The difference is we do not record and rarely display the names of the plant that are not woody.
Guided tours are available by prior arrangement.

Experience the story behind the Arboretum, the story the trees tell and the heritage of the site. We can provide an expert guided tour at a cost of $70 per hour but ONLY with prior arrangement.

Enjoy a picnic
Far from the madding crowd our restful rural setting of 66 hectares of landscape park is enchanting in all seasons. Picnic in the shelters or on the grass. BBQs need at least 2 x $1 coins. There are toilets on-site and ample parking.
You might consider hiring a rotunda for your exclusive use for refreshments, ceremonies and other family or community events.We have three rotundas. Rotunda 1 north of the Picnic Area with no facilities priced for hire at $50. Rotunda 2 in the Picnic Area and Rotunda 3 west of the Carpark, both equipped with glass windbreaks and coin-operated electric BBQs, priced for hire at $200 for up to 20 adults and $400 for larger numbers. Walking trails
Follow trails through a garden of trees from temperate climates or simply wander through a beautiful and peaceful landscape.
Explore the remnants of colonial industry and ancient geological forces in the doubly unique Eugenana limestone beds.
